The DREAM SCALER is a State-of-the Art improved SCALER / LINE
MULTIPLIER which significantly increases video images resolution and
brightness. The DREAM SCALER comes packed with features that are normally
associated with far more expensive product. The new decoder includes
an Advanced Comb Filter, a robust sync. detection circuit, and an
improved adaptive de-interlacing scheme with correction of the "movie
to video" transfer (3/2 pull down for NTSC). It gives you clean
images with "film-like" quality and no motion artifacts.
It also doubles up as a professional
quality Video Switcher for 5 Video inputs ( 2 x Composite, 2
x S-Video, 1 x Component or RGB/S) AND 1 Computer input (up to
1280x1024).
While the Computer input is left
un-scaled (direct through-put also used for HDTV signals), the
5 Video sources are scaled to match the native resolution of
the Data display. Once programmed, each input memorizes its own
set of calibrations.
The Dream Scaler is highly adaptable
and can be used with all modern display devices (LCD, DLP, D-ILA,
Plasma, CRTs) with resolution from 640x480 to 1365x1024.
Its IR Remote Control allows
simple and Direct Access to input selection and menus, using
an On Screen Display.
